The purpose is to recruit and prepare suitable and devoted believers to meet the pastoral needs of the Church and the challenges of mission field.

The Malaysia Baptist Theological Seminary has a history of more than 65 years. Since its inception, MBTS, with a balance and holistic approach academically and spiritually, has equipped multitude of church pastors and teachers, theological education trainers, mission mobilizers and workers in more than 50 countries.
